We were married at Mountain Harbor Resort, Lake Ouachita, on Sept. 16, 2000. Click on the picture to view what Dan's sister Nancy called "the most photographed wedding since Onassis!" 

On April 28, 2001, we enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Midwest to attend the 25th wedding anniversary of our friends Dave and Casey Maas. Here are a few pictures from an event that had Dan laughing so hard for so long that the muscles in his head cramped up!" 

In April 2000, Anita and Dan enjoyed a fantastic vacation with Bill and Debi Barnes aboard the 40' sailboat Artful Dodger in the British Virgin Islands. Click on the sunset for pictures of that vacation. 

After attending Sun's Sunrise Club event in Singapore in October, 1999, we traveled to Phuket, Thailand. There, we chartered an old 32 foot Beneteau and sailed for a week in the Andaman Sea. Can you spell "squall"? 

Finally, the soffets, green tile, ugly linoleum, worn carpeting, and drafty windows are disappearing and will be replaced by much more liveable stuff. Follow the progress of our construction project through this link.

We traveled on a redeye flight on Christmas Day, 2001, to meet Barb and Bob Unanski aboard Freya in Grenada. Over the next 2+ weeks, we sailed as far north as Martinique, visiting 9 different anchorages along the way.

Dan's sister Linda was married to Haltom Higgs at Haltom's farmhouse just outside of Malvern, Arkansas, on May 17, 2002. Anita and Dan went to Arkansas for the event, and we also shared their honeymoon on a small (83') houseboat on Lake Ouachita.

What a hoot! We went to the 2002 Big Ten Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis and had a great reunion with a bunch of "Bearhunters".

On Sept. 8, 2002, over 1600 friends met in the infield at Bay Meadows Race Track for a reunion of Tandem Computer employees. Here are our pictures from that once-in-a-lifetime event.

On July 25, 2002, we traveled to England to attend the wedding of Sally Hill and Matthew Richmond. Many, many thanks to Sally and Matt for including us in their wonderful wedding.

Aunt Betty, Leslie Purdy, and Lucy and Ben Price joined us for a train ride to Sacramento over the 2003 Memorial Day weekend for some terrific music and even better sharing of company.

We traveled to Arkansas on Christmas Day, 2004, to visit Linda and Haltom and Family. We also spent some time stomping around on our propoerty and meeting up with prospective builders.

Zak and Deb joined us in California beginning, June 24, 2005. Andy came later on Wednesday, 6/29. These pages chronicle their adventures here.

Linda and Haltom Higgs, and Don Kennedy and Judy Clas, converged with us for our 5th anniversary celebration on a houseboat on Lake Ouachita. This was one week before Don and Judy were to get married themselves!

We traveled with Linda and Haltom to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to enjoy that little town for a couple of nights and to catch an Arkansas Razorbacks game in nearby Fayetteville, AR. We enjoyed a parade of old cars on Saturday before we left for the game. On Sunday, we were happy to see our friends Larry and Mary Cockerell, who drove from near Branson, MO, to join us for breakfast.

Pictures from Dan's 40th high school reunion. It was definitely a treat catching catching up with long-lost friends after all this time. This is the first of the class reunions I had attended.

We joined Linda and Haltom for a fun trout fishing excursion to the White River below the dam for Lake Bull Shoals in north central Arkansas. We stayed at Gaston's Resort, and the trip home via highway 7 was glorious in full fall color.

There was no traveling this year, as we were living back in Malvern while our new house at Mountain Harbor is being built. Christmas was special this year with Rob home from Afghanistan to be with Amy and Nick, and Leslie, Aaron, and their family were here too.

Aunt Betty joined Anita and I for a fine evening with Paula, Mike, and Mildred (Paula's Mom)), remembering old stories and catching up on the many years that have passed since we got together last.

Aunt Betty and Lucy joined us for a weekend at Mountain Harbor and enjoyed the wonders of The Breakfast Club at Ricky and Debbie Lee's Subway on the Marina.

Jack and Maria Driscoll visited in their RV during their springtime jaunt around the country.

Jack and Maria, after leaving Mountain Harbor, found their way to Larry and Mary Cockerell's home on Lake Table Rock, and so did we. Great reunion!

Ronnie & Marcella Newman took the train from St. Louis to Malvern, while Bob and Barb Unanski took the easy way and flew to Little Rock for a Newman Family Reunion on the 4th of July.

We celebrated Bob's 70th in "Trimbling Timbers" with Anita's German chocolate cake.

A terrific reunion among first cousins, grandchildren of W. C. Watson and Camile Lewis Watson.

It's all about Family. Of course, the food was good too! And, as usual, there was a lot of it!
