We arrived in Arkansas on Wednesday evening. Thursday and Friday morning were spent trying
to get everything set up for the wedding, including several trips to what turned out to be a
very good wine store in Hot Springs.

On Friday night before the wedding, Bill and Debi Barnes hosted a reception at their
home for us and our guests. Here are some photos from that very special event.

Saturday morning was spent laughing and telling lies about the party at Bill and Debi's,
followed by a leisurely morning at the lake. We then met at the marina at about 2 p.m.
to board the two houseboats and depart for the wedding and party.

These photos are of the ceremony in progress, just in case you were wondering, with all
the parties and pranks, whether or not it would actually happen!

After the wedding service, we enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner, followed by music and
dancing.
|
All good things come to an end, as did the evening on the houseboats. However, those
still ready to party some more all met at our condo to talk about the night and to look
at the pictures we had accumulated so far.

Sunday was a lazy day spent saying goodbye to many of our friends and family who had
journeyed to Arkansas for our wedding. We had a [relatively] quiet dinner at Mountain
Harbor's restaurant on Sunday evening.
|
After a few more goodbye's, we finally got a chance to spend some time on the
lake and with Bill
and Debi. We went to Hot Springs for a very low key evening and a wonderful meal.
