This picture was taken on April 1, 2000, on our first night out on our chartered Beneteau 40, "Artful Dodger." We had sailed from Soper's Hole on the west end of Tortola to a cove called "The Bight" on Norman Island.
Taken at the Captain's Table Restaurant, Tortola, BVI. We were waiting to see if the officials of the island were willing to allow Anita and Dan to get married, which they eventually did not. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful meal, and the adventure of running around to the various government offices on Tortola was "interesting" at worst.
This was our third stop on the "Pusser's Triangle," which required one to drink a Pain Killer (rum, coconut, ???) at three of the four BVI Pusser's. This picture was taken on Virgin Gorda, the night before we sailed to Anegada.
Dan worked with Bill at Mountain Harbor in the spring and summer of 1973 after getting off active duty in the Navy Reserve. This picture is of the bridge that crosses to the Corps of Engineers campground, directly opposite the marina at Mountain Harbor.
I was honoured to be able to attend and participate in Bill and Debi's wedding. Bill's son Chris, Debi, Bill, and Dan.
